Grab yourself a free copy

If you are a teacher, tutor or technician then fill in your details below to be in with a chance* of receiving a free copy of the Ultimate Book sent to you in the post.

With the cancellation of many face-to-face events I can't hand out copies in person but I can send out hundreds of books in the post. This is largely due to Philip Harris who have helped support this book - have a look at their website, they sell some lovely stuff!

This will be a useful notebook that you can add to, and refer to, over many years of teaching. Allowing you to collect in one place the information that will make experiments run smoother and demonstrations more useful to your students. It's down to you to make it the Ultimate Book of Science Experiments!

I'd love you to fill in one of the pages with a simple demo/experiment that you then share to Twitter tagging in @Philip_HarrisUK and @legophysicsguy with #ultimatebook. This will allow many more teachers and technicians to see new ideas they can use in their classrooms and add to their own notebooks.

If you would like to buy multiple copies (perhaps for your whole department) you can do this on Amazon, with both paperback and hardcover versions available.

Who are you?

*How the giveaway works

I have a further 50 books that I will send out for free - I'll cover the printing cost, postage and packing. All you need to do is fill in the form on this page and you will be entered into the draw - you only need to enter once (multiple entries are automatically deleted). Please make sure your postal address is entered correctly and I'll put it in the post if you're a winner (UK postal addresses only).

This competition is for teachers and technicians who would find this book useful. If you don't win a free copy then you can buy your own copy for just £5.99 for the paperback or, if your school departmental budget allows, then treat yourself to a hardcover for £12.99.

The winners will be picked at random, notified by email and sent a book in the post. The deadline for entries is 20th January 2022 with the winners picked on 21st January 2022.
